My name is Alicia Marquis. I grew up in Kittery, Maine, where I attended Traip Academy. While in high school, I ran cross country, played basketball, and ran track and field. I then went to the University of New Hampshire, where I received my Master’s in Elementary Education. I also ran cross country, indoor track, and track and field at UNH.
- I live in Kittery with my wonderful husband, our 3 beautiful daughters, and our energetic boxer puppy, Maverick.
Before teaching at Coastal Ridge Elementary School, I taught 4th grade for two years in North Hampton, NH. I taught 4th Grade here in York from 2004 to 2011 and then 3rd Grade for the 2011-2012 school year, before returning to 4th grade.
- Besides teaching and spending time with my family, I enjoy running, baking, shopping, and eating ice cream. I also love watching my daughters play soccer, basketball, and lacrosse! Our favorite summertime activities include going out for ice cream, playing whiffle ball in the backyard, spending time at the lake, and swimming at Nana and Grandpa's.
